United Press Association; —By Electric Telegraph,—Copyright. Sydney, January 8. A water main at the Proprietary mine was dynamited. The pipes, however, have not heen in use for many years. A CONFERENCE PROPOSED. Received January 9, 9.45 a.m. Sydney, January 9. The Proprietary Mine directors have agreed tu the suggestion of the President of the Arbitration Court for a conference, with a'proviso that before it is held pickets must be withdrawn from the mine and works at Port Pirie. A preliminary conference will be held this forenoon to discuss the question of the withdrawal of pickets.
