The Shakespeare Memorial Committees and Sub-Committees recommend that the public be asked to equip andgendow a National theatre at a cost of half a million. Lord Mayors and Mayors have been asked to open subscription lists. It is will be opened by Shakespeare’s tercentenary in 1916.
