ELTON COMEDY COMPANY.

The Oollingwood paper writes aa follows of the Elton Comedy Company, which appears at Marton Opera House to-night Our districthas been fortunate of late in being afforded opportunities of hearing some of tlie best companies touring the country districts, and quite up to the highest standard of excellencewere the Grace Elton Comedy and Bellringing Company, who gave an entertainment at the local hall on Tuesday evening. Although the audience was not large owing to so counter attractions; those who did attend were agreeably surprised at the high class and diversified character of the entertainment provided. Both Mr and Miss Elton are most prodigally endowed with many talents for amusing and entertaining an audience, the lady being mistress of nearly a score ol different instruments, most of which she manipulates with marvellous saill, while together, the couple keep their hearers in a continuous state’of merriment. The serious and sentimental element is not absent, and Mr Claude Munton’s singing of several ballads; was highy appreciated, as was alsothe rendition of illustrated songs by Mr and Miss Elton. Altogether a bright, refined and amusing entertinmeut which no one can afford to miss seeing.
