AMERICAN RIFLES AND AMMUNITION.

The sub-cnmmittee of the Rifle Association report on the success of the American team in the match fired during the visit of the fleet, considers that the American rifle has little advantage over the British. The success of the visitors was chiefly due to the superiority of their ammunition, which however, was specially prepared.
