A collection of 346 oil pictures made by George McCullough, formerly prominently connected with mining industries in Australia, and a noted collector of modern and contemporary art, will be exhibited collectively at the Royal Academy in place of the usual winter exhibition of old masters.

The newspapers contain caustic criticisms of the extreme Catholicity of Mr McCullough's taste. Mr Henry Howard, writing in the Times, states it is understood that the to be sold.
