RIQT AT A HOTEL.

Gisborne, January 6. A riot occurred at a hotel about 5* pan. yesterday. A young man from the country entered into a game called “selling the horse,” but then withdrew. Words and fisticuffs ensued, followed by throwing bottles and other missiles. The landlady, who interfered, was knocked down, but uninjured. Noone: was seriously hurt. Five men were before the Court to-day charged' with riotous behaviour.
