MINERS’ DISEASE.

Auckland, January 7,

The Star’s Huntly correspondent wires that the Miners’ Federation is cabling Newcastle nrigng Unionists to stop supplies of coal for New Zealand companies. They are also arranging a conference with the Unions in Auckland with a view to stop the unloading of imported coal. It Is stated there is a probability of the Southern coal miners’ being called out in sympathy wtb the Northern coal miners’ determination not to submit to medical examination.

Waikato Miners’ Union has decided to cite the Company for creating a lock-out and having failed to give requisite notice.
