BESS, who was sired by that celebrated Clydesdale stallion Thane of Clyde (imported from Scotland by the late H. McLean, of Invercargill), is the dam of most of Mr A. Bremer’s valuable stud of draught horses, and her progeny have been very successful at Taranaki, Hawera, Wanganui, and Palmerston North. Shows.
