NAPIER WOOL SALES. Per Press Association Napier, Jan nary 5. The second wool sale of the season was held to-dav when a record catalogue of 13,698*bales was submitted to a large attendance of buyers and bidding was for the most part.keenly animated. The offerings were very varied, including a large percentage of small clips of inferior quality which, although they soldSJwell, did not arouse enthusiasm. Fine crossbreds sold from 9dgto medium crossbreds ;to B%d, coarse to*7d. Lamb wool did not appear to be competed for, and probably the quality was unsatisfactory. ’ Prices ranged from for inferior to 8d for better grades. Pieces sold from 3%d to 4^jd,
