TRENTHAM RIFLE MEETING.

Wellington, January I. /The annual shooting meetug of the Wellington Defence Rifle Clubs Association was held The grand aggregate prize was won, by G. Halliday, of the Karori Eiflo Club with a total of 244 points. Cordoral H. O. Jones, of the Post and Telegraph Rifles, won the Kolapore Gup aggregate (all scores at ranges between 200 and 600 yards.) In the tyro class the aggregate prize for those ranges fell to Private Routley, of the Hutt Valley Rifles. Corporal Jones also won the silver cup presented by the Licensed Victuallers of Wellington for the highest grand aggregate scored in the Earori and Petone match. The teams match, for which there were three entries, was won by the Opaki Rifle Olnb with an aggregate of 1133.
