There is much that is laughable and mncjh that is paMietio in the charming play that was acted at Marton last evening and the large audience at times hardly knew whether to laugh or cry. The twd children who toqk the pars of Claudia at different Ages ' were charmingly ‘natural and unaffected and the tlh’j'te and eldest Claudia acted by Misk- Wayne Was attractive enough to deserve, the affection of the man who was first her foster father and then her lover. The play was a thoroughly pleasing and wholesome one, and there is no doubt that it will be well received wherever it may be presented.
