THE PAGE MILLIONS.

United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Sydney, June 19. At a meeting of shareholders in the Page-Morris Company, formed for the purpose of pushing an Australian claimant’s interests in the Page millions, Mr Jobson, who was sent to England, to inquire, detailed the fruits of his mission. He said he found that Page did not die intestate, but left his estate to his lawyer. Even if he had died intestate, the Statute of Limitation would have barred the Company’s claims. Counsel advised Mr Jobson that further prosecution of the claim would be useless and unprofitable waste of the Company’s assets. The meeting decided to ask the shareholders to consent to the voluntary winding up of the Company.
