Per Press Association. Wellington, June 17. The Wellington amateur boxing championships were concluded tonight before a great crowd at the Opera House. The finals resulted as follows: —■ The wrestling, heavy weights, was won by Mundy by default, Lanauze being unable to meet him owing to injuries. The light weight wrestling was won by Stewart. The boxing events resulted Bantams. —Selway beat Kerr.. Light Weight.—Watdhorn beat Perry. , Welter. —Devitt beat Minifie. '■ • Heavy Weight.—Hale beat Mundy. Middle Weight.—Heckle won by default of Murphy, who was injured.
