Few cattle were yarded. Quotations; Two-tooth wethers 11s Id to 12s 6d, wether lambs to 8s 2d, mixed lambs 6s 6d, 7s 6d to 8s 2d, cull lambs 4a 7d, forward empty ewes 8s 4d to 10s 4d, s.m. ewes in lamb 4s, 2-tooth ewes in lamb l'2s 7d. Cattle: JAugnst and September calvers £3. At our Marton sale on 16th inst. we had a full yarding of sheep and a fair one of cattle. Theee was a better demand for lambs and other classes of both sheep and cattle sold at late market rates. Quotations :—Forward empty ewes Bs, 8s Bd, 9s; store ewes 2s 6d to ss, 4 and 5-year ewes in lamb ss, s.m, ewes in lamb 4s 6d, cull ewes in lamb 2s 3d, 2-tooth ewes in lamb 13s 4d, 2-tooth wethers 11s to 12s 4d, fat ewes 10s 6d, mixed lambs good 8s lOd to 10s, culls Is lod to 3s sd. Cattle : Mixed yearlings 14s, 2*^-year steers £3 5s to £8 9s 6d to £3 11s; springing cows £5 2s 6d, fat cows £3 to £4 10s.
