CRICKET.
THE TRIANGULAR CONTEST. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received June 15, 8.20 a.m. London, June 14. The Referee states that there was no idea of asking the South African cricketers to visit England until the project brought forward by Mr Abe Bailey for a series of triangular matches, and nosv Australians were to be treated as naughty children for not agreeing to the project, upon which they should have been consulted before action was taken. Compared with Australian, South African cricket is a thiug'of yesterday.
