In connection with the Old Age Pensions Bill, the Independent Labour members of the House of Commons have decided to move an amendment reducing to 05 years the age at which pensions will be granted, and abolishing the income limit, disqualification of present paupers, differentiation betweejn married couples, and relatives living together, also the character test. Received. June 13, 8.53 a.m. London, June 13. Liberal newspapers declare that the Lahorites’ proposed amendments to the Old Age Pensions Bill would be costly and impracticable.
