COLONIAL FRUIT.
United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. London, June 11. At the Horticultural Society’s Show, the New Zealand Government exhibited 100 varieties of apples and pears, which gained the Society’s gold medal. Blakeway (Christchurch) secured for apples. Clarke Bros. (Whangarei) received a medal for preserved fruits, as also did J. Anderson (Adelaide) for apples, and the West Australian Government for grapes. H. O. Williamson gained a bronze modal.
