STOCK REPORT. Messrs Dalgety & Go., Ltd., reportAt Wanganui on 2nd mst. wo had a smaller entry than usual, 1500 sheep and 100 head of .cattle being yarded. Owing to sale being held on an off day ami clashing witn outside sales there was not the usual attendance. There was, however, fair competition and we made nearly a total clearance at prices according to quality well up to last week’s rates. Quotations :—Light fat ewes 11s 7d, medium 2-tooth ewes in lamb 10s (Id, old ewes 3s to ss, forward empty ewes 7s 3d, small 2-tooth wethers" 10s Id, inferior 2-tooth wethers 8s 4d, year bullocks £4 13s, forward empty cows £2 17s 6d, draught marc in foal filly £8 10s. t"» ;, *.s m»-» —. Messrs Dalgety & 00., Ltd., report We bad a fair entry of sheep and a small entry of cattle at Pending. There was a good demand for lambs and forward wethers. Twotooth wethers small 11s 3d, fat and forward wethers 14s 7d, cull lambs os 4d, good lambs 8s lid, empty ewes 6s 6d, 2-tooth ewes and wethers 11s, fat and forward ewes 9s to 9s lid, 15-month steers 85s.
