The departure of the Czar and Czarina was unexpectedly postponed on Monday evening owing to boisterous weather in the Baltic. The royal yacht Alexandra, which sailed the day before King Edward, collided with the lock at the entrance to Kiel Canal, while on her maiden trip. She damaged her propeller.
