| A MARTON CASE. • At Wanganui sittings of the Supreme Oourtjou Saturday, the case ' Lound and Pedersen and others v. Marten Club and Alexander Brown, f‘ were heard. /n Messrs Lound & Pedersen claimed t' r £226 12s lid for plumbing and other I work done for the Club to the order ■' of Alexander Brown, builder, and K. ■. and E. Tingey, painter, claimed £176 3d for work done under similar ' conditions. • ; Evidence having been taken and • arguments heard, His Honour intimated that his order would be that the claim of Messrs Lound & Peder- * sen be paid out of the fund, and that the Club House Company retain sufficient in hand to meet the claim of Messrs Tingey, after deducting cost of repapering now being done in completion of the contract. Counsel engaged were:—For Lound & Peder- *■ sen, Mr Hutton (instructed by Fullerton Smith & Miles); Tingey & * Co., Mr Hutchison; Club House Company, Mr Cohen (instructed by ’ Messrs Fullerton Smith & Miles); A. Brown, Mr Collins.
