The official report states that “ the judges had no difficulty in deciding the orderrof merit.” “Messrs Hornsby’s Engine ran without hitch of any kind from start to finish. Its action was faultless.” It has also taken premier awards in the world’s most important exhibitions. It has never been beaten in competition. It took the highest award at the World’s Fair Chicago; gold medals at the Paris Exhibition, 1900, Melbourne (Victoria).
