Mr "Winston Churchill, presiding at the South African dinu. said the depression was gradually yielding to an economic revival. The historical result of the war, in giving a single flag and eliminating duality, had imparted a powerful impulse towards federation. The Imperial Government’s attitude was essentially one of vigilance and encouragement. He hoped [es-General Botha would play a great in th'e upbuilding of a Joyal, free and united South Africa, with a unity as complete as Canada’s.
