ARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL. Notice is hereby given that the Marten Borough Council will at a Special Meeting of the Council to be held in the Borough Council Chambers, High Street, Marton on Monday, June Btb, 1908, at 8 p.m., make and levy the following rates for the period commencing on the first day of April, 1908, and ending on the 31st March, 1909: A General Rate under Section 95 of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” of 2s in the £ on the rateable value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property within the Borough of Marton on the basis of the annual vallue. A Library Rate under Section 109 of “ The Municipal Corporations Act, 1900,” of one penny in the £ on the rateable value on the Valuation Roll of all rateable property within the Borough of Marton on the basis of the annual value. Also, that both of the above rates will be payable in one sum at the office of the Borough Council, High Street, Marton, on the 9th day of June, 1908. Notice is also hereby given that the Rate Book containing particulars of all the above rates is now open for inspection at the said office. A. H.
