(From Our Own Correspondent.)

A golf match was played on the Kimbolton links between the Kiwitea and Kimbolton Clubs on Wednesday last. The weather was perfect, and the game was thoroughly enjoyed by all the players. The following are the results : —Mrs Baddeley, Kimbolton beat Miss Munro, Kiwitea, by two strokes ; Mrs Beedie beat Miss Blundell by three '.'strokes; Miss Mcßeth beat Miss Broad by seven strokes. Kimbolton ladies won by three matches to nil. Mr Oarrutbers, Kimbolton, lost to Mr W, L. Banks, Kiwitea, by seven strokes; Mr McKechnie lost to Mr A. Banks by three strokes; Mr Baddeley beat Mr W. Jacob by 15 strokes; Dr. Beedie lost to Mr A. O. Jacob by one stroke. Kimbolton lost by ’ three matches to one. Aggregate result: Kimbolton %von by four matches to 3.
