WANGANUI TRAINING NOTES

Per Press Association. Wanganui, May 23. The weather was'fiue for the final gallops this morning, “when there was little time making indulged in. King Billy, with a light weight up, ran five furlongs in Imin 4sec. Seaton Dale and San Jose cut out four furlongs in 50sec. Toddy and Lingerer jumped the big fences, the latter clearing the obstacles in flue style, while Toddy also jumped well. Cloudy Morn and Mudgee performed indifferently, the former coming to grief at the furze fence the second time round. Good solid work was done by Burns, Tilsou, Mahoe, Belario and a host of others. The weather promises to be fine and the prospects for the success of the meeting are bright.
