Auckland, May 19, The following prisoners sent up from the Lower Court were sentenced by Justice Edwards: —Henry Griffiths, for forgery was admitted to probation for two years; Joseph Geddis, assault and causing bodily harm at Gisborne, three years’ imprisonment; George Kelly and William McGibbous, breaking and entering at Cambridge, two years each; Leonard Cosgrove, a Maori youth, breaking and entering, one year; Nepi Jones Haua, another Maori, committed from Gisborne for -forgery, was admitted to probation for two years on paying costs "and refunding the money stolen.
