LETTERS TO THE EDITOR

A CONTRADICTION.

SIR, —In your report of the Hunterville Rifle Club prize-firing you take exception to the marking and think it strange that the convenience of competitors is not studied by arranging for competent markers. I may say that I was on the range from the beginning till the finish of the shooting and I did not hear a complaint about the marking.—l am, etc., W. FBRGUSSON. Captain Hunterville R.C. [We have omitted the concluding paragraph of our correspondent’s letter, which was uncalled for, as reporters are not infallible, and editors are dependent on them for information. —Ed. ]
