Mrs Guineas, who is alleged to have murdered two husbands and other persons, is aged 48. handsome and possessed of extraordinary strength. Thirteen bodies have been exhumed on the farm, buried with chloride of lime. Itfls expected that more will be found. The police suspect that Mrs Guiness was a murder-fence or receiver of the •bodies of victims assassinated by a Chicago murder gang. The bodies had been dismembered apparently by an expert. Bessie Wallace, a pretty girl of 20, has been arrested on suspicion as a decoy in connection with the •Guiness’ seductive matrimonial advertisement. The police believe ,they are on the track of one of the .greatest murder syndicates of the age. Five big trunks were recently delivered on the farm from Chicago, 'and placed in a secret room in the basement, and were opened by Mrs ■Guiness alone.
