Per Press Association. Dunedin, May 2

The inquest on the body of Alexander McPhee, 12 years, one of the victims of the boating disaster in the harbour on April 18th, opened to-day. Formal evidence was given and the inquest was then adjourned until after the result of the nautical inquiry into the collision is kuowu. Mr Graham (coroner) said he thought that, the lesult of the inquiry would he stated about next Friday. He would then call the'jury together again, when they would decide if it was necessary to call any further evidence.
