The discussion showed that the mail line services between Australia and the Far East were chiefly designed to benefit by the subsidy. It is expected that if the Company advertises itself in Australian waters for a few years German enterprise will secure a larger share of Australian trade than hitherto. SPEECH BY MR PRICE.
