THE GISBORNE STRIKE.
Per Press Associatior Gisborne, May 4. The bricklayers at the instance of Mr Carmody, local representative of the Labour Department, resumed work this morning on the understanding that they will receive 12s per day till Ist June, and after that good men will get 13s and others according to efficiency.
