In the House Mr Webster asked whether with a view to the inadequate, biased and unreliable reports and comments of the press on the doings of Parliament, Government would consider the advisability of establishing a Commonwealth newspaper.
Mr Deakiu replied that he was unaware of any unusual change in the attitude of the press. He thought Government was engaged in sufficient intricate subjects at (present without tackling a newspaper.
