THE' FUNERAL. TRIBUTES IN THE HOUSE. Press As sociation —Copyright London, April 28. * The Kings of Denmark and Norway sent special representatives to the Abbey. All the'great nonconformist communities were represented. The Archbishop of Canterbury and the Dean of the Cathedral conducted the services. Sir H. Campbell-Bannerman’s body was subsequently conveyed to Belmont Castle. Many marks of respect were shown on the journey. Mr Asquith, in the House of Commons, made a touching and eloquent eulogy, dwelling specially on the moral side of Sir H. Campbell-Ban-nerman’s nature, and describing him as an idealist and optimist in politics. Messrs Akers Douglas, (Conservative), T. P. O’Connor (Irish member), and Henderson, on behalf of | the Labour members, paid tributes of respect. Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman was buried at Mungle. Fivs hundred wreaths were laid on his grave, and an enormous crowd attended.
