Press Association. Wellington, Anril 25. At the Supreme Court prisoners who pleaded guilty .in the Lower Court came up for sentence. William Larrabee, for incest at Taihape, sentence was postponed in order that the gaol surgeon may form some idea of accused’s mental condition; John Edward Moody, forgery and uttering at Hastings, was admitted to probation, for two years and ordered to pay £5 towards the cost of prosecution. George Groves alias Williams for forgery and uttering at Masterton, was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment. He had a bad record of five previous convictions; John McCormack, for breaking and entering and theft of a rug, was admitted to probation for three years. Palmerston N., April 25. Alex. McDonald pleaded guilty to theft of a post office savings bank hook, and with forging the name of Otto Miller to a savings hank order for £5, and was remanded to Wellington for sentence. Accussed was working with informant and took the book from their tent.
