The Trades Union Congress, after a lengthy debate, negatived the Labour Council’s directions to Unions to ignore the Industrial Disputes Bill and rely on the Strikes Bill Amendment.
It was resolved that the Unions discuss and find out the true contents of the Act before being compelled to uphold the Labour Council’s decision.
