Mr Rnnciman has been re-elected for Dewsbury, the polling being : Rnnciman, 5594; Boyd-Carpenter, (Conservative), 4,078; Turner (Labour), 2,446. At the general election the voting was Rnnciman, 6,764, ; Carpenter, 2,954; Turner 2,629.
