President Cabrera, who has not been seen publiclj 7 [more than twice or thrice since January, has informed the police that he has unearthed an extensive conspiracy, leading up to the recent attempt, and by his own order 18 of the ringleaders have been executed. The death penalty awaits others who are in the bauds of the military. Received April 25, 8.18 a.m. New York, April 24.
President Cabrera declares that he has proof that the majority of prisoners were implicated in the plot. He has issued a proclamation declaring that he is confident that the people are loyal, and that he will preserve order with a strong hand.
