FROZEN MEAT. Press Association. Napier, April 23. The 0.0. and D. Co., Loudon, cable that frozen meat prices are unchanged. STOCK REPORT. Messrs Abraham &}Williams, Ltd., report on their Johnsonville sale as follows:—A small entry of beef of prime quality sold freely at 235; best bullocks £8 17s 6d to £9 2s 6d, others £8 to £8 15s, light £7 15s. A good entry of prime sheep sold at late rates. Best wethers 17s lOd, others 16s,'ewes 15s*6d to 16s 2d, 14s to 14s lid, others 13s »d, lambs 15s 6d, 13s Bd, 13s lOd, light 12s sd. ADDINGTON MARKETS. Christchurch, April 22. At the Addington live stock market to-day there was a fairly large entry of stock, butjjthe'attendance on account of the rain was smaller than usual. Tegs made 15s 6d to 17s sd, an extra line 18a to 19s, ordinary freezing weights 13s to 15s 3d, and light and unfinished 10s to 12s 6d. Fat cattle: The entry totalled 273 head. Steers £6 to £9, extra £ll 17s 6d, heifers £5 to £9 17a 6d, and cows £4 10s to £7 15s, extra £8 15s. Store and dairy cattle: Small entry. Yearlings os, 15 to 18-months '22s to 265, 3-year £3 Is, dry cows 15s to 445, dairy cows £4 10s to £8 ss. Pigs: There was a small yarding. Choppers sold at £5 ss, heavy baconers 60s to 60s, and lighter 50s to 555, medium stores 18s to 21s, weaners 5s to 10s.
