SHOOTING.
SECOND EDITION.
DAILY MAIL CUP. PreisS Association. Wellington, April 21. Arrangements for contesting tire Daily Mail’s Empire Cup trophy are being perfected. It is known that a number of clubs and district rifle Associations in the Dominion will participate, and a suggestion has [been made that the Defence Forces Rifle Association should enter a team, but owing to the ambiguity of fjthel conditions and proximity of the deciding day it is impossible to ascertain definitely whether this is practicable.
Colonel Collins has decided to grapple with the difficulty, by selecting the best scores made by Association members who may fire with their District Association or Club team, and forward these scores to the Daily Mail Executive as a tentative entry on behalf of the Defence Rifle Assciation, the highest ten or twelve to be counted as the case maybe, if such team is adjudged eligible.
