SHOOTING.

The secretary of the Rangitikei Rifle Association acknowledges the receipt of a donation of £2 to the club’s funds from Mr J. G. Wilson. The donor has expressed himself as being well pleased with the efforts that have been made in the district to encourage and develop rifle shooting. Mr Wilson offers the suggestion that the formation of a cadet corps might be successfullyaccomplished in Bulls and has promised that in the event of this being done he will make a further donation, to assist in what he describes as a most praiseworthy and patriotic pastime.
