General Booth has announced that ■owing to the inadequate response by the British South Africa Company’s shareholders to the recent appeal for fresh capital, the Company is unable to advance the funds required for the Salvation Army’s Rhodesian colonisation project. The undertaking is therefore abandoned for the present.
