Per Press Association. Dunedin, April 15. Mr McNab explains that he was misled by Mr Mitchell when altering danse 80. He believed at the time that Mitchell "was sub-manager at Otekaike. There is no need for amending the Act. Government have- taken a lesson from Otekaike and dealt with other cases since but all are adjudged on their merits. The considerable discretion allowed in future will be taken advantage of.
