Calcutta, April 11. | The ringleader of the party which attempted to destroy a train conveying Sir Andrew Fraser (Lieut.Governor of Bengal) and his wife, on December 9th, was sentenced to ten years’ imprisonment. Five accomplices were sentenced to five years’ imprisonment each. The ringleader he was induced to make the attempt for 12 rupees (16s), of which seven had been paid.
