AUCKLAND RESOLUTIONS. Per Press Association. Auckland, April 10. At a conference of Auckland Provincial Farmers’ Unions on May 21 and 22 votes will be taken on the following proposals bythe Executive : That the time has arrived for the Farmers’ Union to form a separate political party and run candidates for such seats as are considered desirable, that the Arbitration Act should be amended so that farmers cannot be cited before the Conciliation Board unless a majority of the farm labourers are in favour of same and members of such union are composed of the majority of farm labourers in the district.
