•A letter in the press from the Registrar of the Diocese of Melbourne states that a cablegram has been received from the Archbishop in reference to the Nash case, from which it appears that the charge known as number 2 has been dismissed,'and that the Archbishop does not regard Canon Nash as permanently incapacitated for service in the Church.
