NEW EXPEDITION PROPOSED
Press Association —Copyright. Received April 7, 8.35 a. m. London, April 6. Doctor William S. Bruce, of the Scottish Oceanographical Laboratory, proposes an Antarctic expedition to investigate the Weddell and Briscoe Seas and islands south of 40 degrees.
The expedition would also attempt to cross the Antarctic continent. He estimates the cost of one ship for two years at £40,000. A second ship would be necessary if efficient land exploration was undertaken.
