Sanson, 30th March, 1908, T> AN GITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL ORDER. At a Special Meeting of the above Council held on 7th March, 1908, a resolution was passed making and levying a Special Rate of -|d in the £ within the Kakariki Special Bating District, to provide the interest, &c., on a loan of £SO, authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council under “ The Local Bodies Loans- Act, 1901,” for metalling Kakariki Street, Mangaweka North. Such loan to be for a period of 41 years, and the interest to be paid at the rate of 4 per cent, per annum. It is hereby further notified that a copy of the resolution making and levying such Special Rate is open to public inspection at the office of the Council, High Street, Matron, and that a Special Meeting of the said Council will be held at Marton on SATURDAY, 4th April, 1908, at 8 p.m., to confirm such resolution. ARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL, SPECIAL ORDER. Notice is hereby given that at a Spmial Meeting of the Marton Borough Council heid in the Council Chambers, High Street, Marton, on Wednesday, 25th March, 1908, it was resolved : “ In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by ‘ The Local Bodies Loans Act. 1901,’ and its amendments, the Marton Borough Council hereby by way of Special Order resolves as' follows : “ That the Marton Borough Council raise by Special Order a loan of £IOOO for the purpose of paying off the former loan of £IOOO authorised to be raised on the 26th, March, 1903, for gasworks extension, and that the Council offer as security for such loan an annual recurring Special Rate over ail the rateable property in the Borough of Marton sufficient to provide the interest and also a Sinking Fund of £1 per centum per annum on such loan, and that the term of such loan be 14 years, and the rate of interest not more than four pounds ten shillings per centum per annum. And notice is hereby given that the said resolution will be submitted to a Special Meeting of the said Council, to be held in the Council Chambers on WEDNESDAY, 22nd April, 1908, at 8 p.m. for confirmation as a Special Order.
