PARAEKARETU SPORTS.

A SUCCESSFUL MEETING. This popular fixture was held yesterday, and was fully successful both from a financial and' sporting stand point. The competitors rolled up in strong force, and satisfactory entries were received for the horse events. The officers carried out their duties in a most efficient manner to the satisfaction of all concerned. Much of the success of the sports is due to the Secretary (Mr J. B. His handicaps produced close finishes. The judges in the horse events were Messrs Thos. McKenzie, K, Aldworth and A. H. Bill.
