POLO.

Press Association. Wellington, March 31. The Polo Tournament was continued at Miramar to-day in good weather. Two games in the Handicap Cup were played, the teams being the four losing teams in the games that have been played for the Savile Cup. The first match was between Wellington B (handicap 4 goals) and Christchurch (handicaps). This was a fast game and ended with the score (counting handicap):—Christchurch 18, Wellington B 16. The Southern men were mounted on the fastest ponies, with the exception perhaps of Skerrett, Wellington. Cowlishaw played a magnificent game'and was more or less responsible for most of the scoring on his side. Skerrett’s ponies were faster than those of his colleagues, who were supporting at'times. The second match Fern Flats (handicap 16) v. Wellington A (handicap 4) finished with the score (counting handicaps):—Fern Flats 20, Wellington A 14. This was an exciting game, being fast and furious throughout and the ponies had a severe trial. Clark played a fine game for Wellintgon and was well supported by Johnston.
