The Canadian Government has .invited Mr Deakin to represent Australia at the Quebec Tercentenary celebrations. After communicating with the Earl of Dudley, Mr Deakin replied regretting that his Parliamentary duties precluded his visiting Canada, but that he has arranged that the Earl of Dudley will represent the Commonwealth at the celebrations.
